Lammin Sahti participates in several different events during the summer where you can find us and our excellent products.
Lammin Linen Market "Pellavan markkinat"
"In the sandy fields of Häme Lammi developed into the country's most central flax area where flax became a specialty crop even when specialization was unknown. A flax factory was founded in Tampere in 1861, which had a flax warehouse built on a plot of land it had purchased from the Iso-Lukkari farm. In this building, which was demolished a few years ago and is located in the current apartment building area, the factory representatives bought flax at the turn of October-November and on another day in early December. From the October-November purchase day, the extensive Lammi flax market developed, which had more people than the Hämeenlinna market."
